ABOUT BIKE-N-CAMP

The bike-n-camp network of family oriented campgrounds began in the fall of 2009 at a meeting of WACO campground owners. The idea was initiated by Dave Schneider from Indian Trails Campground as a way to enable people to go bicycle camping without having to haul all their gear on their bikes. Dave made many bike camping trips when he was a teenager. His first long trip was from Hartford to Pardeeville back in 7th grade with three of his buddies for a two night stay at Indian Trails Campground. The ride to the campground was filled with excitement and fun. The ride back home lacked the anticipation that the first part of the trip had. There is no better way to go on a bike trip than to start and end at a nice family oriented WACO campground that will transport your camping gear for you. Wisconsin is the #2 biking friendly state in the nation and soon to be #1 with the help of families that want to do things together and create memories that last a lifetime.
